Project: Electric upgrades to facilitate green energy solutions

At Connections2energy we have successfully upgraded electric supplies for over 50 schools across the UK to install renewable energy equipment, assisting the Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme. The PSDS supports the aim of reducing emissions from public sector buildings by 75% by 2037, compared to a 2017 baseline, by switching to renewable energy solutions such as air source heat pumps.

In most cases, these public sector buildings require an electric upgrade for green energy solutions such as air source heat pumps to be installed successfully. Connections2energy has worked diligently to ensure these upgrades are efficiently project-managed. Given the challenges of working within schools, our technical team had a limited window to coordinate the work without disrupting daily operations. These upgrades are essential, assisting schools to adopt green energy solutions as soon as possible.
