Connections2energy are delighted to be working alongside a valued client, facilitating full multi-utility for a brand-new student accommodation in Nottinghamshire. The first phase of this development involved the disconnection of all live utilities, including electric, telecoms and gas. The previous Royal Mail site stood vacant for 20 years before being demolished in preparation for the new student accommodation. The site is now ready for Connections2energy to deliver full multi-utility connections, including gas, water and electric connections.
Once complete, it will deliver 783 student beds – a mix of modern studio apartments, four, five and six-bedroom clusters and accessible studio rooms. Additionally, the development will offer a variety of indoor facilities and well-designed gardens. It will also include ground-floor commercial spaces for the convenience of both residents and the surrounding community. The building is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring air-source heat pumps and PV roof panels.
